Newsletter--8 months

Dear Lylah,

I cannot seem to grasp the fact that you just entered our lives 8 months ago. How? I know I say that every month, but this month has been extra fun. You have started doing the worm, crawling, pulling up to your knees and just very recently, pulling up to STANDING. STANDING. What? You have seriously learned so much this month.
You have the best little personality. Everyone you meet talks about how happy you are. You LOVE people. You have no trouble going to see anyone. You love the nursery at church, you love other babies and especially your friend Addi. We went to see them last weekend and you are in LOVE with Addi. You watch her play, you try to crawl to her...it's so cute!

You said Da da just last week. You love to scream and talk. It's so cute!

You are still sleeping pretty well. You are still not the best napper, but I'll take my 12 hour nights other a nap any day. You are so good at night. And in the car. You seriously are the best baby ever.

We were amazed how fast you figured out your sippy cup. You can drink it yourself and you can feed yourself puffs. You are pinching your fingers together and eating off your high chair. You just learn something new all the time. You started eating the puffs at the beginning of the month, and you LOVE them. I have had trouble finding organics here....which is not cool.

You had your first easter! It was so fun!

You still just have two teeth. I think your top ones are getting close. You haven't been too fussy, but I have a feeling that it's coming. You are just so sweet.

Next week we go to Australia! AHHH! We are so excited. You will be great, I'm sure. You will probably do better than I do. I cannot sleep on a plane. But you can! :)

You are the best thing that ever happened to us. You are so funny, sweet and LOUD. We just love you to pieces. We look at you and cannot believe that this adorable baby is ours. Our perfect gift from God. People mostly say you look like me, but a few say your Daddy.

WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

Love,
Mom and Dad
